Popeye's Spinach Caps

Spinach & Artichoke Stuffed Mushrooms - an incredibly easy party food that uses a little help from the grocery store ;)
Ingredients

  • 2 lbs brown mushrooms (50 - 60 medium size)
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 8 oz Cream cheese (softened)
  • Health Nuts Popeye's Pleaser - 1 packet
  • Optional: 1/2 cup (4.5 oz) Parmesan cheese, shredded

Directions

  1. Wash mushrooms with cold water and remove the stems.No need to pat dry. 
  2. Preheat oven at 450 degrees. Lay mushroom caps tightly packed and touching each other on one or two baking sheets.
  3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper
  4. Combine cream cheese with the Popeye Please spice blend.
  5. Add the cream cheese mixture filling up the cavities and then top with parmesan cheese evenly.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes or until mushrooms are golden on the outside and cheese has melted.
